Do I need an account to play?
No. You can play as a guest - no account, no email. A free account keeps your stats, friends and cosmetics on every device.
How does the age check work?
When someone creates an account, we ask for their birth month and year once on each device or browser. We do not keep the date you enter; we keep your age group, how we learned it and, if you are under 18, the month you turn 18. You must be at least 13 to create an account; younger players can play as guests with preset chat. From 13 May 2027, players in India may be asked their age before playing.
Is Taboo Party free?
Yes. Joining a room is free and needs no account. Hosting needs a free account, which includes free games each month; Party Pass and Plus remove the limit. We may also open hosting to guests for a limited time; the home page shows when it is open. Every price is on the pricing page.
